HC Judge Dilip Singh issued the show cause notice on the petition filed Anil Metha who alleged that the acquired land near Jagatpura in the capital included river basin, forest land, ecological zone and a residential area.

Metha said in his petition that the acquired area included 0.52 hectare of land in his locality.

He also alleged the state government had obtained no objection certificate for using four bighas of forest land to be included in the shooting range project.
