THE ALLAHABAD High Court has dismissed a special appeal filed by Dr Sajjan Singh, brother of Arjun Singh, Union Human Resource Development Minister, and others.

The application claimed the properties of Maharaja Martand Singh of Rewa (MP) on the basis of an alleged will dated January 5, 1993, bequeathed in their favour. A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice AN Ray and Justice Ashok Bhushan dismissed the application. The special application was filed against the judgment of a single judge. Dr Sajjan Singh and others had moved the court on the basis of a will alleged to be executed by Maharaj Martand Singh in their favour about his properties situated at Rewa, Allahabad and Mumbai.
