HCL Tech ties up with Synchron

HCL Tech has entered into alliance with Synchron for jointly providing solutions in clinical trails and data management on drugs and devices.

HCL Technologies Ltd has entered into a strategic alliance with Ahmedabad-based Synchron Research Services Pvt Ltd, leading contract research organization, for jointly providing solutions in clinical trails and data management on drugs and devices.

HCL Technologies would provide software consulting, infrastructure management and BPO services in clinical trials and clinical data management run by Synchron across the globe, it informed the Stock Exchanges.

Synchron offers clinical trial and data management services to domestic and international pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical companies.

"This engagement takes our Life Sciences proposition to the next level. We have got this opportunity to work with a prominent player like Synchron in the area of Clinical Data Management, which is a validation of our strategy and an extension of the already strong relationship," HCL Technologies, New Jersey USA, Vice President and Head - Life Sciences Practice Pradep Nair said.

Both the companies would collaborate with each other to engage in technology development activities related to clinical trials, which will be further utilized to source new projects and develop market offering for the jointly developed clinical trial products.
