Landslips were reported from Rosemala near Aryankavu in Kollam district and some parts of high ranges in Idukki district, official sources said.

Road traffic was disrupted due to the landslips in Idukki and Kollam. Low-lying areas had been inundated in the southern and central districts.

The state capital was also receiving moderate to heavy rains flooding the main roads.
