With David Nalbandian meeting Gaston Gaudio in the other semi-final, ninth seed Henman is the only man who can prevent the first grand slam final between two Argentines.
Henman, who is appearing in his first grand slam semi-final outside Wimbledon, is bidding to become the first Briton to reach the final in Paris since Bunny Austin in 1937.
Nalbandian, runner-up at Wimbledon to Lleyton Hewitt in 2002, is favourite to beat compatriot Gaudio and reach his second grand slam final.
