Hizb militants killed in J&K

The slain militants have been identified as Kari Zuber, divisional commander of Hizbul, and his associate Nasir Ahmed, both belonging to Khari area of Banihal tehsil in Ramban district, police sources said.

Acting on a tip-off about the presence of militants in Sher bibi area near the J&K Highway, a joint team of Rashtriya Rifles and police cordoned off the area on Saturday night, they said. The troops started operation this morning.
