A Hizbul Mujahideen ultra and two alleged symathisers of militants were today arrested by security forces in Kulgam and Pulwama districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
Feroz Ahmad Zargar, 20, a Hizbul militant hailing from Qaimoh, was arrested by a joint party of police and Nine Rashtriya rifles from Ban village in Kulgam district, a police spokesman said here.
A Chinese pistol, its magazine and seven rounds were recovered from the captured militant.
In another operation, secuirty forces nabbed two supporters of militants identified as Abdul Qayoom Rah of Manduna village and Mohammad Maqbool Dar of Murran village at a local bus stand in Pulwama district, the spokesman said.
He said a pistol with four rounds and a grenade were recovered from their possession.
A case has been registered against the arrested persons, the spokesman said.
