Hizbul terrorist killed in J&K encounter

The slain terrorist has been identified as Ishrat Ali code Adnan of HM outfit and originally resident of Kilotran of Gandoh tehsil.

A Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist was gunned down by police in Gandoh area of Doda district on Sunday, police said in Jammu.

On a tip off, Special Task Force of police launched an operation in Balpadri area of Gandoh tehsil and in the subsequent encounter shot dead one terrorist, they said.

The slain terrorist has been identified as Ishrat Ali code Adnan of HM outfit and originally resident of Kilotran of Gandoh tehsil, they said.

One Self Loading Rifle (SLR) with its two magazines and 15 rounds have been recovered from the site of the encounter, they said.
