Having guests over this evening? Well, just an elaborate spread is not always enough to make guests rave about your party. Set an impression on them by laying it on thick, the dining table we mean.
1. Table runner:
There’s no way you can do without one. While choosing a table runner, choose a colour that goes with the occasion for that special dinner you have in mind. Pastels work well for daily use whereas bright colours are suitable for special occasions.
2. Crisp napkins:
Pick crisp, stylish napkins and napkin rings to add class. For extra effect, layer two napkins of different colours together. One napkin can remain on the guest’s lap; the other can be used to wipe the hands.
3. Bring on the mat:
Silk mats are good for formal settings, while cotton and polyester blends work well for everyday dining.
4. Cute coasters:
This small addition can do a lot. Go in for quirky or classy coasters, depending on the decor theme of your house. Mismatched pieces pep up the mood.
5. Candle stands:
If romantic or royal is how you want your table, there’s nothing better than investing in a par of candle stands. Scented ones will help you relax.
