HuJI terrorist arrested in Jammu & Kashmir

Acting on a tip off, security forces raided a house in Kakrthia area of Kishtwar tehsil in the district and arrested the terrorist.

Security forces arrested a terrorist belonging to Harkat-ul-Jehad Islami (HuJI) from Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday night, official sources said.

Acting on a tip off, security forces raided a house in Kakrthia area of Kishtwar tehsil in the district and arrested the terrorist, they said.

He was identified as Fareed Ahmed alias Shahid Khalid of the HuJI outfit and security forces recovered one AK-56 rifle, three magazines, 90 rounds, one UBGL, six UBGL grenades and one pouch from him, the sources said.

Ahmed had been active in the area since 2000, they said.
