HVP welcomes Haryana DGP'S transfer order

Haryana Vikas Party welcomed EC's decision to transfer Haryana's Director General of Police as his wife was contesting from Sonepat on an INLD ticket.

Haryana Vikas Party on Wedensday welcomed the Election Commission's decision tlo transfer MS Malik, Director General of Police, Haryana, as his wife Krishna Malik is contesting on the ticket of the ruling Indian Nationa Lok Dal (INLD) from Sonepat.

Party General Secretary Rajiv Jain, in a press statement, claimed that it was a victory for the Opposition parties who have been agitating against the misuse of the official machinery by the DGP as well as the state government.

Meanwhile, representatives of the BJP, the Congress and other political parties have also hailed the decision of the Election Commission on this issue and demanded the resignation of the Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala on moral ground.
