I believe in destiny

"I firmly believe that my destiny is one thing that no one can take away from me and this feeling keeps my entire being at peace," says Bollywood Queen Bee Madhuri Dixit

I wouldn't call myself superstitious in the literal sense of the word but yes, I do have faith in destiny. I firmly believe that my destiny is one thing that no one can take away from me and this feeling keeps my entire being at peace. Since I accept the fact that no matter what one does, one cannot overcome one's destiny, I do my utmost in respecting the dictates of Nature. The most sensible thing is to accept one's fortune without any questions and not always fight a futile battle against it.

It is my strong belief in destiny that has prompted me to anchor the TV reality show Kahin naa kahin koi hai, which would bring potential brides and grooms together for a possible union in marriage. Imagine a platform where total strangers get to meet and know each other, and who knows, fate might just intervene and get them married. Happily settled after an arranged marriage, I myself am an advocator of  'marriages are made in heaven.'

I find it amusing when I see people get disturbed by things that are meaningless. For instance, people actually stop in the middle of the road and change their direction if a cat crosses their path. Does it make sense? Well, maybe for them that averts a mishap but, as I said earlier, I go by what God has already willed - good, bad or the ugly. Who am I question God's commands?
