I can't rejoice at someone being sentenced: Ramani

Ramani says that she cannot celebrate the sentencing as it has brought grief to someone's house.

Reacting to the Delhi High Court sentence of life imprisonment to Manu Sharma in the Jessica Lall murder case, Bina Ramani, key witness in the case, on Wednesday said that she cannot rejoice at somebody's sentencing.

"I can't rejoice at somebody being sentenced but it's true that karma of justice has been done," Ramani said at her Goa residence.

Ramani said she cannot celebrate the sentencing as it has brought grief to someone's house.

"But it's been a long struggle and finally justice is delivered," she said in a short interaction with mediapersons.
