Q. Hello, Mr Mohan Deep. I would like to know what to do: Me and my husband are going to buy an old house, which is going to be fixed up to live. We have been reading about our auspicious and inauspicious locations, and we are very scared because in the new house the main bedroom is located at the lui sha location for my husband, but that is my tien yi location. It seems that all the things that are good for me are bad for him. My kua number is 6 and his is 3. I am afraid that something will happen to him. I love him very much and I really would like to get some help from you. We can't afford to make changes to the house structure, and I'm also planning to have a family child care in the same house so that we can pay for it. Please help.

A. Before buying an old house you should know how the house has been to the earlier occupants. If the house has remained vacant for a long period, and even otherwise, before moving in you should get the house sanctified by Feng Shui rituals. Q. My date of birth is August 4, 1987 (8.39 pm) and place of birth is Delhi and my father's DoB is October 16, 1959. My relations with my father are not harmonious. He has great expectations from me but I am not able to fulfill them. I am a student of 12th class. I try my best and the results are not worth it. I am not able to concentrate. A. Dear Neeraj, it is unfortunate that the relationship between you and your father are not harmonious because you have not been able to fulfill his great expectations. First of all, you do not have to live your life by his standards and fulfill his expectations. A lovable relationship between the father and son, ideally, should be without any pre-conditions. However, success in academics is important and for this you may sit facing North in the Northeast part of your house, keep a Knowledge Tower on your desk and do your best. Success will be at your feet.
Q. Dear Mr Mohan Deep, I moved to the US five years ago and have been trying to get into a job/career since then. I have been very unsuccessful in getting a stable job and maintaining friendships. I have a loving husband and family and have a comfortable life. I always seem to end up the scapegoat or blamed when trying to make or maintain friendships. I need your help in securing public respect, career and fame. We life in an apartment currently that faces East. I bought a bamboo plant and buddha (not laughing buddha) figurine and placed facing the entrance. I also have a couple of tortoise figurines, i dont know what to do with them. Can you please suggest any practical solutions for my career problems?

A. If the Career & Opportunities corner of your home has some flaws, or if it is totally missing you can have such problems. You may hang a six rods silver color wind chime in the north of the house to trigger it. You may also place the bamboo plant in this sector. However, though this corner is popularly believed to be in the North of the house but there are several schools of Feng Shui and a simply taking North into consideration may not give you the desired results. Similarly, there may be a problem in South part of the house which may be the cause of the problem of recognition and you becoming the scapegoat.
