She is dusky. She is tall. She is beautiful and has a well toned body. Sindhura Gadde, Miss India-World 2005, is one of the debutantes to walk the ramp at the Wills India Fashion Week in the capital. We caught up with her on the beaches of Goa.

My vitals are...
33- 25- 37

What prompted you to walk the ramp at the Fashion week?
I have walked the ramp in New York, at the Australian fashion week, and the New Zealand fashion Week. I have modelled for Adrienne Winkleman, Versace, Gucci; Dolce Gabbana and Kate Sylvester. During the Miss India contest, I have worked with Indian designers like Ritu Kumar, Satya Paul and Mandira Wirk. I was always fascinated with the Indian ramp and it's a great pleasure to walk the ramp in India.

How will you keep fit during the fashion week?
This time it's going to be really crazy as there are two fashion weeks, in Delhi as well as in Mumbai. It will be a hectic schedule with loads of madness. There will be no time to concentrate on workouts, but yes I will focus on my attitude and good eating habits I guess they will keep me fit.

Who are your favourite designers?
I like Ritu kumar as she did nearly half of my wardrobe during Miss India. I like New Zealand based Annah.S, Vasachi - I just feel like a diva in his collections.

Your favourite models (national & International)
I really admire Jesse Randhawa among Indian models. It's great to see that the Lady, who is in her thirties, looks gorgeous and has sustained for so long in the fashion industry. I hope to look like her in my thirties. Among international models, I like Tyra Banks. She is curvaceous, dusky and has lots of attitude on ramp.

Any plans for a foray into Bollywood?
I am doing some Bollywood projects and two Tollywood films. While in New Zealand I have always been excited and very much interested in masala Bollywood movies. So, I would definitely be looking for commercial roles.

Tell us something about your background?
I come from a family of four, originally from Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh. My father is a mechanical engineer and my mother is a software technician, both stay in New Zealand. I completed my education in pharmacology and physiology from New Zealand itself. I have also worked as a newsreader. So, in a way I am well exposed to the media industry!

One interesting thing that you want to share with us?
I am very adventurous kind of a girl. I just love sports. I have done snow boarding and I have played Volleyball too.
