IAF chief SP Tyagi begins Sri lanka visit

Indian Air Force chief, Air Chief Marshal SP Tyagi, began his official visit to Sri Lanka on Tuesday by calling on the army chief Sarath Fonseka, officials said.
Tyagi was accorded a military guard of honour at the army headquarters and thereafter he held talks with Sri Lankan military leaders.
The visiting Indian air chief is due to call on President Mahinda Rajapaksa later on Tuesday.
He is also due to call on Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake and several other political leaders and military commanders.
