June might be one of the hottest months of the year, but it is also the month which is celebrated as the ‘Iced Tea month’ in the USA. While Delhi might not be officially celebrating it, but as the mercury keeps on rising everyday, some cool iced tea does provide a much needed respite from the summer heat. Lemon flavoured iced tea is the most commonly sold version of this drink, apart from some other varieties.
It is also a favourite with most of the students studying in Delhi University’s North Campus, as they swear by the iced tea sold at the JP Tea Stall in Delhi School of Economics. We list down for you some of the places in the city where you can enjoy this chilled beverage.
Aap Ki Pasand
Some Roman features, with wooden furniture and a high ceiling, give this place an English teahouse feel. As soon as you enter this place, you will be offered a free glass of iced tea by the waiter. It has a fruity taste with a hint of honey. You can also buy the packed version of this beverage to make your own iced tea at home.

The Tea Room Company
With a range of 30 different teas to offer, this place is the hot spot for all tea lovers. All their iced teas are priced at Rs 59. The Tea Room offers various flavours desired by their customers, be it lemon, orange or mint.

When here, you will feel as you are in Goa, as this place gives the impression of a shack, with innovative beach-like decorations. Brown Sugar offers a wide range of flavours in iced tea, from watermelon, peach, cucumber to green apple, which is the most popular.

This cafe, which is dimly lit, has a yellow navy blue coloured theme that creates a relaxed ambience, further enhanced by the retro music being played in the background. They have different kind of iced teas to offer, such as peach and lime, among others.

This small cafe has a proper campus setting, which makes it almost always crowded with youngsters. When here, go for the refreshing lemon mint iced tea. Teasta -The Tea Shop
This place is never empty and sees customers ranging from 12 years to 70 years. Opened in 1995, this place is run by a former tea planter, Captain V.K. Mehra and his wife. Teasta is renowned for its lemon iced tea, followed by other flavours such as peach and chilled green tea. All of the iced teas are available for Rs 25 here.
