iGate in pact with Owens Corning

iGate Global Solutions has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with US-based Owens Corning.

iGate Global Solutions Ltd said on Wednesday that it has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with US-based Owens Corning for providing supply chain technology services.

As a part of this multi-location agreement, the company would establish a supply chain technology centre for Owens Corning at its corporate campus in Bangalore, iGate informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The centre would offer a range of core SAP services across sales and distribution, materials management modules, production planning in addition to other modules like Financial Accounting Controlling and Human Resource.

"This is a challenging and a strategic deal for us in the Supply Chain area with a client who has invested in creating a world-class supply chain organization. We are proud to be associated with them," iGate Chief Executive Officer Phaneesh Murthy said.

The company would provide also provide Owens Corning additional scalability, agility and technical depth in a range of Supply Chain technology initiatives.

Owens Corning, a Fortune 500 company, is engaged in building materials systems and composite solutions.
