AT LEAST 50 of the City?s 432-odd illegal colonies are set for regularisation following the completion of a survey by the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC).
AT LEAST 50 of the City’s 432-odd illegal colonies are set for regularisation following the completion of a survey by the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC).
The Corporation has sought a no-objection certificate for the 50 colonies from the Nazul, tehsil and Town and Country Planning Department and the regularisation process will commence once these documents are received.

The IMC survey was carried out after residents of illegal colonies petitioned the Corporation indicating their willingness to pay development charges that would entitle them to basic civic amenities like running water, roads and drainage.
According to colony cell incharge Suresh Belia a sum of Rs 10 per square meter
