Incest case: Remand for dad, tantrik till April 13
The Thane-based businessman accused of raping his daughters and tantrik who allegedly advised him to do so were today remanded by a court to judicial custody.

The father and tantrik Hasmukh Rathod, were on Mumbai produced before a court in Thane where the court remanded them to judicial custody till April 13, a legal counsel for the accused who did not wish to be quoted said.
The duo are alleged to have raped the elder daughter of the businessman multiple times over the period of nine years and were arrested after the victim filed a complaint with the police on March 18.
The tantrik is also alleged to have raped both the daughters of the businessman.
Rathod had allegedly convinced the businessman to rape his elder daughter while she was a minor saying that it would improve his financial fortunes.
The mother of the two girls has also been arrested and is in judicial custody for allegedly abetting the acts of the accused.
Bail could be sought for her once her judicial custody ends, her legal counsel said.
