India will soon have a full-fledged foreign minister, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said on Saturday.

"Yes, you will have a full-fledged foreign minister," he told reporters returning with him after a six-day visit to Britain and Finland. "You won't have to wait for too long."

Manmohan Singh has been heading the foreign ministry ever since K Natwar Singh resigned early this year over his involvement in the Iraqi oil-for-food scam.
