Indian hockey coach Gerhard Rach on Friday said his side played a more organised game than New Zealand despite being under pressure during their 1-1 draw in the crucial Champions Trophy match in Lahore.

"Today's match was difficult and we were under more pressure. This was a match we had to survive. So India were mostly on the defensive and on the mid-field. We played more organised," Rach told reporters after the match.
India came from behind to hold New Zealand in their final league encounter at the National Stadium to stay in the race for a medal finish in the six-nation competition.
Even though India have managed to win just one match from five outings in the tournament so far, Rach said he was pleased to see the side not losing matches at the last minute.
"This tournament is much harder than the earlier ones. Six matches in nine days are quite tough. You have to change the game plan frequently," he said.
