Infant falls to death

A SIX-MONTH-OLD girl died after falling off the roof of her house in the Naya Basera colony in Kolar area under Kamla Nagar police station on Wednesday morning.
Sanat Purohit lives with his family in the Naya Basera colony. This morning the entire family was basking in the sun at about 9 am. The house is still under construction and there is no railing on the roof. Sanat’s six-month-old daughter Chunmun was playing on the roof.
Suddenly she crawled towards the edge of the roof without being noticed by family member. In the process she slipped off and fell on the ground. Her parents immediately rushed her to a private nursing home but doctors declared her brought dead.
