Infiltration bid foiled in J&K

Four terrorists trying to enter India have been killed by the Army in an overnight encounter in Baramulla.

Four terrorists who were trying to infiltrate into Indian Territory were killed in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman said.

Army troops guarding the Line of Control (LoC) in Gurez sector of the district on Sunday night observed movement of armed terrorists trying to sneak into the Valley from across the border and challenged them, he said.

Four intruders were killed in the ensuing gun battle, the spokesman added.
