Saffron flags, hoardings and banners are placed at various places in the city, welcome gates have been erected at railway station, bus station and prominent crossings. The active members are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the success of the conference in which the delegates from Nepal, Bhutan and other countries are expected to participate.

Reviewing the ongoing preparation, the coordinator of the programme, BJP MP Adityanath highlighted the objective of this conference and said incidents of atrocities against Hindu community members were increasing in various countries and Christian missionaries along with Islamic and communist forces had posed a serious threat to the pride of Hindu.

Quoting the political upheaval in Nepal and the incidents in Rajasthan, Bangladesh and Pakistan, Adityanath said it was an attack on Hindu sentiments by anti-Hindu forces. ‘The objective of the Hindu conference is to design a strategy to counter such attacks and to save our pride”, he added.

The coordinator distributed responsibilities at district level and expressed hope that the proposed conference would be a turning point in national politics and would leave an impact on the upcoming UP assembly election.

According to a report, on December 23, a Dharm sabha will be organised at Gorakhnath temple while on December 24 Hindu Sangam will be organised at MP Inter College.

Adityanath directed the volunteers to look after the arrangement of rooms for delegates from various districts and exhorted them to ensure the success of this programme.

National secretary of World Hindu Federation Kunwar Narendra Pratap Singh, state secretary of Hindu Vahini Ram Laxman, state president of Hindu Mahasangh Dr CM Sinha, Sunil Singh and others expressed their views in the review meeting held at Gorakhnath temple.
