IPS, St Paul, Daly College advance

INDORE PUBLIC School (IPS), Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, St Paul, New Digamber (NDPS) and hosts Daly College won their respective matches to advance to the second round in the 22nd Kasilwal Trophy football tournament held at the Daly College grounds today.

In the first match IPS defeated Spring Valley by 4-2 goals. Sumeet scored two goals, while Mohit and Abhishek scored one goal each to help their team win the match.

In Pool ‘B’, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar shocked stronghold Agarwal Public School by a solitary goal scored by Anurag. In the second match of same pool, Sanmati School stunned Delhi Public School by 3-2. Tanmay, Palak and Manoj scored a goal each while Vipul and Shivashish scored a goal each for DPS.

In another match, St Paul’s beat Little Angle’s via tiebreaker by 3-2 to enter the second round. In the second session, NDPS beat St Arnold’s in via tiebreaker by 3-2. Gurshan Hatrick helped host Daly College trounce National Public School by 10-0.

Gurshan scored five goals and the rest of the goals were scored by Vijit Rajrishi, Tejas, Yash Mittal, Sahib Gangwani and Pradyuman.
