But upbeat as I am after the result, I plan to take things head-on. It’s all in the head, as we’ve been told

“If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don’t.
If you like to win, but don’t think you can,
It's almost a cinch you won’t.”

A hundred times or more, these words might have been quoted to me. But quite frankly, their meaning was lost on me. It was the Boards result that actually made me take inspiration from them. Yes, the Boards result!

One of the many class 12 non- med students aspiring to be an engineer, I wasn’t looking forward to May 23 eagerly. However, I did better than I thought. Who can after all expect to do well after flunking the pre-boards!? But, I did. Better is never good enough though, there’s always room at the top for the best.

With the Boards over and results out, the days of freedom aren’t here just yet! It’s time for the entrances to torture us.
The entrances, however, are a different story altogether. Whether or not the result was good, we all have to work equally for them. So, for those like me who think they could have done much better than this, all I’d like to say is - Let’s begin again!
