Navneet Kaur has rejoined the national junior hockey camp in Lucknow after the Sports Authority of India (SAI) stepped in and asked the Indian Women Hockey Federation (IWHF) to call back the expelled player. Navneet was sent packing from the camp after she objected to the alleged advances made by national goalkeeping coach A. Edwards during the camp.

Sources in SAI revealed that the Executive Director Teams took note of the incident after HT reported the matter. The IWH has marked an inquiry into the incident. “We have marked an inquiry. We have, however, removed the accused coach, Edwards, from the camp with immediate effect,” said IWHF, assuring that justice would be done.
