A government spokesman said that in view of the Republic Day arrangements, all the educational institutions, including the University of Jammu and colleges, would remain closed on Wednesday.

The management of the institutes, including the private institutions have been directed to strictly adhere to the directive, spokesman said.

This has been done in view of the apprehension of trouble in Jammu in view of the flag hoisting plan by BJP.
