A local court on Thursday rejected an application by four accused in the rape of a Japanese tourist seeking transfer of the case from a fast track court.

Sessions Judge NK Purohit termed the application as baseless.
The four applicants, including main accused Bablu, mother Roshni, brother Raju and friend Raju Sahi requested the court to transfer this case from the fast track court. Earlier also a similar application of transferring their case from fast track court to another court was rejected.
The Japanese tourist had faxed a message to SP, Ajmer from Agra on April 18, 2006 alleging that she was raped and robbed of Rs 54,000 cash after being drugged by Bablu on April 2.
