The trouble in the engine was detected when the plane was midair and two of the aircraft's tyres got deflated after landing, leaving the aircraft stranded on the runway.
All the passengers of the flight 9W 2510 have been safely deplaned and efforts are on to move the aircraft from the runway, the airline said.
Jet Airways said it has made provisions for onward journey of all passengers of the plane and provided hotel accommodation for the passengers in transit.
