"Yashwant Sinha yesterday reviewed a post-poll meeting at Ramgarh. I spoke to him, and he said there is nothing serious about his resignation from the party's national vice-president post," BJP Jharkhand unit chief Raghuvir Das told PTI over phone.

He said that Sinha had been actively working to bolster party's fortunes in the state assembly elections, due in March next year.

Sinha also asked the party activists to work hard in all the assembly segments of his Hazaribagh constituency and ensure victory, Das said.

He said a firm no when asked whether Sinha's resignation would have any impact on the party's Jharkhnad unit.

"Our party is strongly united, and we are working for a better performance in the next assembly elections. Sinhaji is with us," he added.

Meanwhile, BJP president Rajanth Singh accepted Sinha's resignation from the party's national vice president post, party's in-charge for Karnataka affairs and Foreign cell.
