Jharkhand Food Stall, Aurobindo Marg

Aug 10, 2004 04:02 PM IST

Aurobindo Marg (Opp. INA Market)

The trademark dish of this stall is the Litte with Chaukha. Litti, which is like a kachori stuffed with the gramflour (besan) paste called sattu, is fried in desi ghee and served with the potato preparation called Chaukha. The stall plays safe by featuring items like Shahi Paneer and Butter Chicken, as well as an array of tandoori items, which can't be called Jharkhandi by any stretch of the imagination. The Shahi Rajmah combines the tenderness of paneer with the appeal of rajmah.
