Johnny Walker passes away

The legendary Bollywood comedian died in Mumbai after a prolonged illness. His career spanned over 300 films.

Noted comedian of yesteryears Johnny Walker died in Mumbai on Tuesday after a prolonged illness, family sources said.

He was 79.

Johnny Walker worked in over 300 films, including blockbusters like CID, Mr and Mrs 55, Chaudhvi ka Chand, Pyasa, Chhoo Mantar, Chori Chori and Madhumati.

His recent film was Kamal Hassan-directed Chachi 420.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters and three sons.
