JP Dutta asked to reduce his budget!
Big Pictures who was supposed to back a reincarnation film by Dutta asked the director to slash the budget of the film.. otherwise they would back out of the project. However, Dutta, who’s known for being a tough taskmaster, is against cost cutting.
It’s a catch-22 situation for J P Dutta. He has major plans of making a film based on the reincarnation theme. The film, yet untitled, will have real-life siblings — Aman Ali and Ayaan Ali Bangash (son of music maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan), and Alina and Sana Wadiwala.
Reason: Big Pictures was supposed to back the project and asked Dutta to slash the budget of the film.. otherwise they would back out of the project. However, Dutta, who’s known for being a tough taskmaster, is against cost cutting.
A spokesperson for Big Pictures refused to comment or divulge any details. Our source informs that unless Big Pictures goes ahead with its earlier budget, he has no plans to go ahead with the shoot.
Earlier, the film was supposed to have twins Tapur and Tupur Chatterjee in the female leads. Alina and Sana Wadiwala have now replaced them.
