K Venkatapathy

An advocate for about 35 years, he has won the Cuddulore Lok Sabha seat. Venkatapathy, 58 obtained degrees in BA and BL.

He unsuccessfully contested the state assembly polls in 1984 from Sankapuram constituency. Since then he contested for the first time in 2004 and emerged victorious.

He had held various positions in the party at the district level and was a member of MDMK for some time before returning to the parent organisation.
