Buddhist monks from Japan, Taiwan, Nepal, Bhutan, Thailand and other countries came to Sarnath to have darshan of the 17th Karmapa. Foreign and Indian devotees took blessings from the Karmapa in the early hours of morning. The Karmapa will also have ‘Shastarth’ with the monks and students. Elaborate security arrangements have been made in and around the venue of Bajra Vidya Sansthan in view of the Karmapa’s visit. No visitor or devotee is being allowed to enter the premises of Sansthan without being frisked. Apart from the local security, a team of personal security guards has also come here from Gyuto Monastery in Dharamsala (Himanchal Pradesh) for the security of Karmapa.
