The Governor along with his wife met the President over breakfast, Rashtrapati Bhavan sources said.

Both Houses of Karnataka Legislature on Monday witnessed protests by Opposition leaders over the illegal mining issue.

Opposition leaders have also demanded resignation of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurpapa despite his assertion that he would put an end to the menace.
