Kathua: Drug peddler arrested with 450 grams of cannabis

Police have arrested a drug peddler and recovered 450 grams of cannabis from his possession in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police intercepted one Rohit Singh alias Sonu riding on a motorcycle at Londi More in the Hiranagar area here on Friday, police officials said.

During frisking, 450 grams of cannabis were recovered from his possession, they said, adding the contraband was seized and the accused arrested.

A case under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against the accused and further investigation is on.
