An engineering student from Kerala who was undergoing training in Howrah district fell into the river Hooghly and got drowned, police sources said on Friday.
The student Sujit CR fell into the river at Nagirganj on the night of May 24 and got drowned, sources said.
The police said an investigation has been launched into the incident.
