There was a time when a shopping trip to Connaught Place was incomplete without a good old milk shake from Keventers. For more than 40 years, this little shop has got people hooked on their milk shakes (in seven addictive flavours) and cassatta ice-cream. Its popularity hasn’t diminished, despite sleeker places offering the same drink. Maybe it’s the price. Where else will you get 500 ml of milk shake for Rs 18? There are occasions, no wonder, when you have to queue up to get your favourite shake. Order your shake and sit on the railing at the parking lot outside, and watch the traffic zip by. Pair your shake with a sandwich, patty or burger.
