“Loot and murder are the order of the day,” says Mohammad Shamim, a resident.

“The innocent are often harassed.”

Recently, a man was allegedly beaten up when he visited the police station to lodge a complaint.

Men dressed in khaki have allegedly committed robberies.

“We do not know if the police committed the crime or the criminals came in uniforms,” said Naresh Kumar, a teacher. However, no FIRs have been registered in the case so far.
