"Abilash has been freed and is in good condition," the minister told PTI.

A Sudanese driver, who was also held captive, has also been released, he said.

Five persons, four of them Indians, had been held hostage by some rebels in Sudan since May 20 this year. While two captives had escaped earlier and one was released on Friday, another is still missing.
