‘Internet + Imagination = A new life’ (July 17) poignantly explored the dependence of the government on bulky files and paperwork. A large number of people die in road accidents every year. Many of these deaths could be averted if we had a national blood donors’ registry. The government needs to create awareness too. Advertisements in cinemas, for instance, could be beneficial.
