Rao has a word of caution for aspiring models: "It isn't just about looking pretty: There's a lot of hard work, discipline and determination involved in reaching the top," she says.
Inspiration: My family in Bangalore, particularly my mom who's my pillar of support.
Best Ramp Experience: The first fashion week with all that hype and that very international feel to the event.
Worst Ramp Experience: When my chiffon blouse slipped off and was caught on camera at Suneet Varma's show in Delhi three years back. It was highly embarrassing.
Indulgence: Shopping for apparel labels like Mango and Diesel.
Stage Fright: "I never got stage fright, but I do experience camera fright even today."
Diet Plan: Breakfast is fruits and a protein shake. Lunch is dal, roti and sabzi with chicken. The early dinner is just a soup and salad.
