Madugalle will officiate in all the three Tests in Pakistan before England's Chris Broad takes over for the five one-day internationals, an ICC statement said on Monday.

Rudi Koertzen and Darrell Hair will be the ICC Elite Panel umpires in the first Test between India and Pakistan starting at Lahore on Friday.

Australian Simon Taufel, who turns 35 on the opening day of second Test, will replace Hair in Faisalabad (Jan 21-25).

Hair, however, would join Taufel for the third and final Test in Karachi from Jan 29 to Feb 2.

Taufel will stand in the first three ODIs before Steve Bucknor takes over for the last two games.

Madugalle will then return to India to see the hosts take on England in three Tests beginning with the first in Nagpur from March 1, the umpires for which will be Aleem Dar and Ian Howell.

Taufel and Hair will then stand in the second and third Tests, in Mohali (from Mar 9) and Mumbai (Mar 18).

The appointments for the ODI series between India and England, scheduled to start in Delhi on 28 March will be made in due course, the ICC release said.
