Kolkata students to take part in German youth fest

Another student delegation from Hyderabad will join their Kolkata counterparts here before emplaning on Friday.

A 17-member delegation of school students from Kolkata will leave for Stuttgart in Germany to participate in a UNESCO-sponsored Youth festival, 2006.

The 16-day festival will begin from July three.

The Kolkata students from St Xaviers, St Thomas, Children's Foundation and Horizon school, on Wednesday met the city Mayor Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya.

Meanwhile, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has decided to send a 10-member delegation of students of its primary schools to Beijing shortly, KMC sources said.
