Two men have been arrested for allegedly raping a 32-year-old married woman.
Two men have been arrested for allegedly raping a 32-year-old married woman.
The victim has alleged that her landlord, Narendra, and his brother-in-law, Sarjit, raped her many times. They even videographed the heinous act and threatened the victim to make it public, if she reported the matter to anyone, said a police official.
The police said both the accused have been booked under Section 376 of the IPC.
The incident was reported from an area under the Sihani Gate police station in Ghaziabad on Monday.
The woman alleged that Narendra blackmailed her that he would make the videos public and raped her many times. She said he introduced her to his brother-in-law, Sarjit, who also raped her.
“The woman has alleged that the two men exploited her for months. They even put pressure on her to develop relations with two of their friends. It was then that she reported the matter to the police,” said Sihani Gate SHO PK Gautam.
“We have sent the woman for medical examination,” he said.
In another case reported from the Sihani Gate police station area, a 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by three men on Sunday.
The police said one of the accused was arrested, while two others, including a minor, were at large.
