“My priority would be to curb such crimes and ask the police stations to make sincere efforts in working out cases of burglary and thefts,” he said. Leave aside top officials even the cops at the police station too hardly pay attention to such cases. The cops do not even bother visiting the spot, Rajiv said. He would ask the police stations and other officials to ensure tight patrolling in their areas to check cases of burglary and theft.

Besides, he would also make an effort that the police stations work out such cases on a priority basis. Next issue, which is required to be handled properly, is providing adequate security to the senior citizens. This section of the society has always been the target of the miscreants and the cops have little time to pay attention on them. He would make sure that police stations prepared a list of senior citizens in their areas and made a strategy to provide them security cover, Rajiv said. Traffic management would be another priority for Krishna.
