Little mixes art, technique to bring out the best from nature
CAPTURING THE wondrous moments of his rendezvous with nature, ace lensman Bhupesh Chandra Little showcased his talent and his sensitivity towards environment through a photographic exhibition held at Nirala Art Gallery, Delegacy, Allahabad University on Thursday.

Altogether 70 frames in the gallery spoke volumes about the talent of Bhupesh who is HoD Professional Art Department, Kala Mahavidyalay, Lucknow. Most of the photographs were based on nature. Landscapes and portraits were also displayed amongst the attractive photographs. He has also done extensive work on computer graphics and mixed techniques of manual blended with that of latest technologies. His photographs on nature included the beauty as well as destructive aspect.
Prof GK Rai, director Institute of Professional Studies, Allahabad University inaugurated the event. He said that utilising the techniques along with that of the talent of the photographer results in a good picture.
"All the photographers should develop their individual viewpoints as this helps them in carving their own identity," added Rai. He praised the work of Bhupesh Chandra Little and said his photographs are the best example of co-ordination between art and technique.
Speaking on the occasion, Little laid emphasis on the significance of the analog camera and agreed that the trend of digital cameras have increased manifold.
"The amount of experiments being done with film photography with analog cameras is much more than those taking place with digital cameras. I take pleasure in black and white photography and it has its own significance," said Little.
The event was conducted by Dhananjay Chopra and vote of thanks was proposed by SK Yadav.
The photography exhibition and workshop will continue till November 11.
